EKKS LODGE  #53 CAR SHOW
SATURDAY!

The Elks Lodge #53 located at 3520 Holland - Sylvania Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43615, will be having their 22nd annual car show this Saturday July 27th, from 10a.m. to 2p.m., registration is $10.00, drawings for gas cards, 50/50, raffle, food available for purchase with indoor air conditioned seating, music with cruisin zeake.
All proceeds from the show will go to benefit cerebral Palsy!
So for great food, great indoor dinning, and great fun, come on out and see us this Saturday!

A BIG HOSPICE THANK YOU!

A big thank you to all you great cruiser's who came out to our super cruise - in to benefit Hospice of Northwest Ohio Monday night at Applebee's, the weather was a little shakey but you still brought your cars out to support Hospice, we had 75 cars on the grounds and the sun came out and it turned out to be a beautiful night!
Congratulations to all of you who won a $20.00 or $15.00 gift card, and congratulations to our 50/50 winner who went home with $195.00 with the other half $195.00 going to Hospice, Congratulations to our drivers pool winner who went home with $65.00!
Thank you to all of you who put money in the donation jar as it took in $167.00 for Hospice, and we had a anonymous donor give us a check for $2,000.00, and with the $195.00 raised from the 50/50 it gives us a total raised for the night of $2,362.00!

FOURTH ANNUAL STONY RIDGE CAR SHOW SUNDAY!

Stony Ridge Park is located at 5705 Oak Street, Stony Ridge, Ohio, 43463, however entrance to the show will be on Stony Ridge Road watch for signs!
Registration is $10.00, Dash Plaques, Door Prizes, 50/50, free coffee and donuts while they last, food trucks, awards, spectators free, music with cruisin zeake!
The show is being hosted by the Frog Town Cruiser's and if you need information on the show you can contact Chuck Saar at 567 - 395 - 7719!

This show had over 250 cars last year and it is a great location for a show with parking on grass the shade is limited so if you want to bring a tent there will be plenty of room for you to do so!

All proceeds from the show will go to benefit the Stony Ridge Community Park, so come on out and help us support this great cause!

We will be having our drawing for our Matco Rat Fink Tool Box to benefit Hospice of Northwest Ohio, on Satiurday September 14th, at 10a.m., the location for drawing will be at the Millbury Classic Cars & Truck Museum located at 26929 Cummings Road, Millbury, Ohio.

We will be having cars and coffee from 8a.m. to 10a.m., with the drawing for the tool box at 10a.m., in case of rain we will hold the drawing inside the Museum at 10a.m.
I would like to thank Mike and Tammy for all their help and if you haven't been to their Museum it is a must see!

I don't know where to begin to thank so many Awesome people, but I will try and please forgive me if I over look anyone!
Let me first start with Joel Cook owner of Fast Lane Auto, Joel was responsible for getting all the great door prizes, the radio promos, getting the grounds at the rec center, getting sponsors to pay for the T-Shirts! and so much more great job Joel your the greatest!

A BIG HOMELESS VETERAN'S

THANK YOU!

On behalf of the V.A. clinics staff they would like to say thank you to each and everyone of you great cruiser's who came out to their show to support the homeless Veterans!

We had 55 cars on the grounds the weather was picture perfect 70 and sunny, everyone was saying how great the donuts and coffee were, and then on top of that the clinic gave every cruiser a free lunch that was just great!
I would like to tell you that thanks to cruiser's we raised over $10,000.00 worth of goods for the Vet's and that was the count when I left they are going to let me know the final count soon.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE!

Oregon Police Dept. Sergeant Ed Depinet stopped by my house and asked if I could get the word out to cruiser's that there has been a uptick in stolen classic cars in our area, and he ask that if you have any information or see something suspicious that you would please contact him at the Oregon Police Dept 419-698-7178.

If you have ring camara make sure it is working, make sure all your doors are secure, and report anything you see out of the normal!

MEMORY PATH PAVER!

The above picture shows where the paver is placed that you cruiser's purchased, it is the very first paver on the memory walk, as you face the front of the building you will look to your right and that is the start of the memory walk.

This paver was bought by you cruiser's as a way to be remembered for all your great help in rasing money for Hospice.

Barb and myself were very choked up at seeing the paver as we reflected on all the hard work and generosity you cruiser's have done over the past years of raising money for Hospice and for that Hospice and our crew can never begin to thank you great cruiser's enough, so take a big bow as you cruiser's are the greatest!

I hope you don't have to but should you have to go to a funeral home and you want to write a check for Hospice of Northwest Ohio if you would please put in the memo car cruisers for Hospice and they will credit our account, this is great way to pay your respect to the deceased and a great way to help car cruisers for Hospice.

When I started the idea to raise money for Hospice in 2011 my goal was to raise $25,000 for Hospice and to get our name on the board at Hospice, I had to come up with a name for our group and since we were all car cruiser's I decided to call our group Car Cruiser's for Hospice, and so the journey to $25,000.00 began!
 

In 2011 you raised $1,756.00

In 2012 you raised $1,804.00

In 2013 you raised $3,022.00

In 2014 you raised $3,300.00
In 2015 you raised $5,057.00

In 2016 you raised $3,627.00

In 2017 you raised $5,361.00
In 2018 you raised $6,147.00

In 2019 you raised $7,252.00
In 2020 you raised $6,387.00

In 2021 you raised  $12,860.00
In 2022 you raised $15,450.00

In 2023 you raised $18,841.00
 

That gives us a total for Hospice of $90,864.00!
 

I can never thank all you great cruiser's enough for your great support, I am so proud to know all of you and it makes me proud to say that I to am a Car Cruiser for Hospice!

If you are having Computer problems, let me recommend Leonard Parker, he has helped me with my computer problems many times.
He charges $25.00 an hour to come right out to your house however he said that if you call him and tell him that Cruisin Zeake sent you he will give you a 20% discount making his fee only a low $20.00 an hour to come out to your house!
